Depot Holder in Alkmaar Noord

As a depot manager, you are responsible for ensuring that newspapers within your depot in Alkmaar Noord are delivered to subscribers on time, 6 days a week. You are the point of contact for the newspaper deliverers within your depot. A stable job that you can easily combine with other activities.

This is what you will do

• Receive the newspapers around 3:30 AM.
• Count the newspapers per delivery route.
• Instruct and motivate the newspaper deliverers to ensure timely delivery to subscribers.
• Ensure excellent delivery quality.
• Manage and expand your local network, for example by being active on social media such as Facebook. This helps you find new deliverers.
• Recruit new deliverers if you have one or more delivery routes without a deliverer.
• Handle administrative tasks.
• If there are open routes, you will deliver the newspapers yourself. This means your workday can sometimes last until 7:30 or 8:00 AM.
