Your Role as Location Coordinator

While the rest of the Netherlands is still asleep, you make sure that thousands of people in the Noord-Holland region receive their newspaper on time. As a Location Coordinator at Mediahuis, you are the one who keeps everything running smoothly during the early hours. You ensure flawless delivery in your area, motivate and support deliverers and distributors, and quickly resolve any unexpected issues. If a deliverer reports sick, you arrange a replacement—or step in yourself if necessary. With the help of our delivery app, you monitor your team remotely. You are also responsible for optimizing delivery routes and ensuring correct payment for your team.

You’ll actively contribute to recruiting and onboarding new deliverers, keeping your region well-staffed and ensuring deliverers feel valued.

In addition to your work at the delivery location(s), you will also handle administrative tasks—such as processing reimbursements, handling complaints, and maintaining deliverer records. These tasks can be carried out flexibly from home, whenever it suits you best.

What We Offer You

• A gross monthly salary between €2,497 and €3,240 (based on a full-time 36-hour workweek)
• 25% night shift allowance
• A workweek of 20 to 36 hours, depending on the size of your region

What We’re Looking For in You

• You’re comfortable working night shifts
• No prior experience is required
• You enjoy motivating a diverse team
• You’re computer-savvy and strong in administrative tasks
• You speak and write Dutch (English is a plus)
• You’re adaptable and maintain oversight, even when it gets busy
• You have a Category B driver’s license and own a car
• A Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG) is required

Working Hours

• Shifts usually start between 2:30 AM and 3:30 AM, depending on your location
• Newspapers must be delivered by 7:00 AM on weekdays and by 9:00 AM on Saturdays
• Administrative tasks can be performed flexibly during the day
