Your role as Location Coordinator
While the rest of the Netherlands is still asleep, you make sure that thousands of people receive their newspaper on time. As a Location Coordinator at Mediahuis, you are the one who keeps everything running smoothly in the early hours. You ensure that the delivery in your region goes off without a hitch, motivate and support deliverers and distributors, and quickly resolve any unexpected issues. If a deliverer calls in sick, you arrange a replacement — and if necessary, you deliver the papers yourself. Using the delivery app, you keep track of your deliverers remotely. You are also responsible for optimizing delivery routes and ensuring your deliverers are paid correctly.

You play an active role in recruiting and training new deliverers. You make sure your region stays well staffed and that deliverers feel appreciated.

In addition to working at the main depot, you also handle administrative tasks, such as processing reimbursements, handling complaints, and maintaining deliverer records. You can flexibly perform these tasks from home at a time that suits you best.

What do we offer you?
• A gross monthly salary between €2,497 and €3,240 (based on full-time, 36 hours)
• 25% night shift allowance
• A workweek of 20 to 36 hours, depending on the size of your region

What do we expect from you?
• You don’t mind working night shifts
• No experience required (experience in the newspaper industry is a plus)
• You enjoy motivating and managing a diverse team
• You are computer-savvy and strong administratively
• You speak and write Dutch (English is a plus)
• You can multitask and keep an overview, even during busy times
• You have a valid driver’s license (B) and your own car
• A certificate of good conduct (VOG) is required

Working hours
• Start time is around 03:00 AM
• Newspapers must be delivered before 07:00 AM Monday to Friday, and before 09:00 AM on Saturdays
• Administrative tasks can be done flexibly at your convenience
